So who am I?

In short, I'm a front-end developer. Have a look around my site to get an idea of exactly what it is I can do. There is some work showcased, but I have tried to make this portfolio itself a demonstration of what it is I can do when unleashed on a creative project. I like people to be able to play with my creations; so explore, discover, and if you like what you find feel free to get in touch.

Building fruitful relationships

In large scale projects, attitude is everything. I have worked for a number of clients, including big brands such as Virgin Media, Thomson, Kwik Fit and The Gym Group as well as one-man enterprises such as CustomersUnited or RapidFire. In all my projects, I try to bring an open mind, and stay connected to stakeholders and project managers so that the results are requirement-driven and delivered on budget and in time. If you want some examples of my work, visit my portfolio.

Love working with Adam. Can't think of anything bad to say about our working relationship! I feel confident to leave work with Adam and never have to chase. He always delivers, and mostly more than what I would expect from him.

The proof is in the pudding

I have worked for a number of clients, including big brands such as Virgin Media, Thomson, and Virgin Trains as well as one-man enterprises such as CustomersUnited or RapidFire. Whatever the job, if it excites me (in that way only coding can do), then I'm in. If you want some examples of my work, visit my portfolio.

My Skills

I take pride in my code. I managed my own team in my last role, and strongly promoted the virtues of well thought out code. My dad taught me to "measure twice, and cut once", and this principle permeats my work. My code is always readable and logical, so that no matter how complex it gets, someone else can always dive in and navigate around without needing a manual.

What do I do? »

I can confidently say that Adam's level of accuracy is far above that of most developers that I've dealt with before. It's a pleasure to work with him from a design perspective as he can see detail that most developers will miss.

My History

If you want to learn how I got into coding, and the arduous self-taught route that brought to me where I am today, you can find out everything you need to on my history page.

Resources

As a developer, I am always trying to share the things locked away in my knowledge, but I am also always learning and borrowing from the successes and failures of other people. I felt like it was my turn to give back, so I have put some of my own resources up in this section. You can see my latest resources below, or hit "read more" to see everything.
